Gearing up for Christmas shoppers & summer
It's hard to believe we're already gearing up for Christmas and the summer season. Are you ready? Read all about AdWords promos, price and mobile sitelink extensions, the flurry about Facebook's trial of Explore Feed, 2 months on with BNZ, and Django Girls is coming.
Shout OutsOur shout outs this month go to Mark Long at Presbyterian Support Otago and Louise O'Sullivan from DogHQ Albany and Glenfield. Mark was previously Marketing Manager at Scouts NZ and recently asked us to partner with PSO - Enliven. Thanks, Mark. And, based on what we do with her AdWords account, Louise has taken on our Facebook advertising services. Thanks, Louise. Your happiness shared is our happiness.
Are you preparing for Christmas or summer promotions?
Google's new price extensions are a great way of showcasing your services or range of products, and how much they cost. Price Extensions are extremely prominent on the page and can lead to a significant Click Through Rate uplift.
Let us know and we will work out the best way of promoting your offer in your ads.
AdWords mobile extensions get major upgrades with tappable sitelinks and more visible content
New changes to sitelink extensions will bring more usability to mobile, while also providing more real estate to the non-interactive extensions.
Facebook: No current plans to make 'catastrophic' news feed change worldwide.
Facebook is testing a major change that would shift non-promoted posts out of its news feed, a move that could be catastrophic for publishers relying on the social network for their audience.
Facebook’s head of news feed, Adam Mosseri said Facebook “currently” has no plans to roll the experiment out further. But he did not address whether or not the test would become general policy worldwide if the results show that Facebook users do prefer the news-free news feed.
Dynamic Creative for Facebook AdsAssembling the perfect, most effective combination of creative for Facebook ads is a time-consuming process for advertisers. Thanks to Dynamic Creative, that process just got a whole lot easier.
Apple Pay is now available at BNZ
It is nearly 12 months since we became BNZ's Google AdWords partner. We launched with Android Pay back then and last week we are proud to be part of the great team that have launched Apple Pay. If you bank with BNZ and have Apple devices, here's the link.

Getting more women involved in technology
We believe in the goals of Django Girls so passionately that we have moved up from a morning tea sponsor (Simon's famous chocolate cakes) to a fully fledged Gold Sponsor. Get in touch with Springload if you want to be involved.
